Can I purchase items online on your website?
No. We do not do have an online shop so you need to come to the shop to buy items.
Do you do Mail Order?
No. You need to come to the shop to purchase and collect items.
Are your children's costumes safe?
Yes, we only use reputable suppliers who take child costume safety very seriously. To see more details CLICK HERE
Can I see all of your stock on your website?
We have over 1000 products in our shop so we do not show them all on our website. To see the full range, come into the shop.
What is your Returns Policy?

What happens if a costume does not fit?
We encourage customers to try on costumes before purchasing in our shop. This allows them to make sure the size is correct. If this is not an option, please see our Returns policy HERE.
What is the difference between hiring a costume or buying one?
All of our hire costumes are of a very high quality therefore the materials, styling and overall quality are different to those you buy. We do not hire the same costumes that we sell.
Are you open on Weekends?
We are normally open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm and Closed on Sundays, Mondays & Bank Holidays. Always check our Homepage for the latest opening times as they may vary according to the season.
How do I know what size costume I need?
Costume sizes can vary between all the different manufacturers and sizing shown is only a guide, it's always best to try a costume on to ensure you get the fit you require or speak to one of our helpful staff for more advice.
Can I make a purchase over the phone?
Yes, purchases can be paid for by phone, although it is advised to come into the shop to view items before purchasing or trying them on, we understand this is not always the case. Please contact us on 01727 839700 if you need to speak to a member of staff. All purchases need to be collected from the shop.
Are dogs allowed in your shop?
Dogs are not allowed inside the shop, unless they are Guide Dogs.
Are there any age restrictions on products?
Yes. To purchase Contact Lenses & Aerosols (Coloured Hair Spray) you must be over 16 years old. Please note you must also be over 18 to hire a costume from FunZone.
Do you do any discounts?
Yes we do. At FunZone we offer Student Discount with a valid Student Card & also offer a FunZone loyalty card. If you would like to know more or get a Loyalty Card, please speak to a member of staff in store.

How much does it cost to hire a costume?
Hire costs vary depending on the items hired and length of hire, a security deposit is also taken before the costume is collected. Please contact us for more details.
What items do you hire?
We hire adult: costumes, ladies boots & men's platform shoes. To see a selection of Hire Costumes click HERE
Can you reserve a costume in advance?
Yes, to reserve a costume, we take half of the Hire Fee as a reservation for the date you need to secure it for you. This can be done in store or over the phone.and is non-refundable in the case of cancellation
How long can I hire a costume for?
Our standard hire charge is for 48 hours or a weekend. For example if your party/event is on a Saturday night, you can pick up the costume on either the Friday or Saturday and return on the following Tuesday. All dates are written and confirmed on your Hire Form when hiring.
How old do I have to be to hire a costume?
You need to be over 18 to hire a costume from FunZone.
What if there is a fault with the costume?
When hiring a costume you are advised to try it on beforehand to ensure the correct fit and so you can see the costume, in the unlikely event of a problem please bring it to the attention of to a member of staff, you are advised to check collected costumes before you leave the shop. If you discover a problem after you have left the shop, please let us know as soon as possible by phone (you can leave a answerphone message) or e-mail . Any damage found on costumes on return will be deemed to be the Hirer's responsibility and may be charged accordingly, as per the Full Terms and Conditions which you will receive with your booking form.
Can I cancel a reservation?
You can cancel a reservation if your event is cancelled/you change your mind/you didn't need the costume but you will lose your reservation fee. If you do not need the costume, again you will lose your fee but please let us know as soon as you know.
Do you hire children's costumes?
No, we only hire adult costumes. We do however have a great range of children's costumes to purchase in store.
Do I need to wash the costume?
Please do not wash or attempt to clean the costumes as we wash costumes individually each time they come back to us.
What happens if the costume gets damaged/ part of the costume gets lost?
It is the Hirer's responsibility to look after the costume during the hire period and to return it on the agreed date. If the costume is damaged or if you do not bring back part of the costume e.g. an accessory belonging to the costume, you will be charged for repair or replacement, please be aware that the security deposit may not fully cover the charge. Can I try on dancewear in the shop?
Yes, we have a changing room in our shop.
What style of dance shoes do you sell?
We sell Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Canvas Character shoes. To see the styles we sell CLICK HERE
Do you fit dance shoes in the shop?
Yes we do. There is no ‘rule’ to fitting dance shoes as all shoe styles and suppliers are different but please come in to our shop to get the right size you need with our trained staff who are here to help.
I need a leotard/uniform that it is not listed on your website, can you order it in?
Depending on the style/size/colour, we may be able to order one for you. Come into FunZone and speak to a member of staff who will help.
What size leotards do you stock?
In general, our leotard sizes start from age 2-3years old and we also sell adult size leotards as well. Come into store as we can guide you to the right size and you can also try on leotards in our changing room.
