1. We have a fantastic range of high quality, exciting costumes to hire for all ages, sizes and occasions, which can be hired on the day or reserved in advance.
2. All our hire costumes are lovingly looked after and carefully cleaned after every hire, no musty smells or grubby, threadbare garments at FunZone.
3. No appointments necessary, we are a proper shop with changing rooms, regular opening hours and late nights on Mondays and Fridays plus FREE PARKING right outside the shop.
4.We have costumes to buy for adults and children to suit all price ranges, these can be tried on before you buy to ensure you get the correct size and fit.
5. No waiting in and hoping the postman will deliver your internet purchase on time or finding that your internet purchase is the wrong item, wrong size, damaged or just not worth the cost and has to be returned at your expense.
6. Our range of masquerade masks from the plain and simple to the weird, wonderful and bizarre is second to none. We can do understated and masculine or glamourous and elegant, come in and see for your self.
7. We have an enormous and comprehensive range of accessories to complement any party theme. Our wall of wigs should help any wannabee look the part, from caveman to Captain Hook, Madonna to Marilyn and everyone in between.
8. We have an eye catching selection of cosmetic coloured, uv glow and funky lenses in stock, we have single use 1 day ones, 3 month and 1 year ones, be sure to make an immediate impact and stand out from the crowd.
9. We have a wide range of dancewear and dance shoes for many different dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, Scottish country dancing, zumba, plus ballet socks, tights and accessories for all ages.
10. Our inventive and knowledgeable staff can take away the worry and hassle of school events, book days, plays, productions and curriculum days with our wide range of children's costumes, masks, hats and accessories.

Change your appearance completely, even your Mum won't recognise you, or just add gruesome wounds and scars. Our new Woochie Foam Latex masks can be painted in different ways for different looks and can even be cleaned and re-used. As they are made of lightweight foam, once attached they move with your facial movements and your skin can breathe so you don't get the horrible sticky, clammy, claustrophobic feel you get with other rubber masks.
They are ideal for parties, stage and theatre use, historical re-enactments, LARP ( Live Action Role Play) and are especially popular at Hallowe'en. You could be a zombie, werewolf, ape man, red-eyed robot, mountain gorilla, vampire or any other character that takes your fancy, with very little effort but fantastic and unique results. Our shop, which is now the only Dancewear shop and the only Fancydress shop in St Albans is open six days a week, it is attractive, spacious and fun with comfortable changing facilities. Our knowledgeable, experienced staff aim to make every customer visit an enjoyable experience. We stay open late on Monday's and Fridays until 7PM to assist hire costume collections and returns and for customers who just can't get in during normal opening times. FunZone is closed on most Sundays and Bank Holidays, check our OPENING HOURS light box at the top of this page for up to date opening times.
There is ample FREE PARKING right outside the shop so you can enjoy the FunZone experience with no fear of traffic wardens or huge car park fees.
